Inspired by Biltmore Estate's Spring Tulip Gardens, this chair has all the Alice In Wonderland vibes. Multicolored tulips, with giant leaves that wrap all the way around from back to the front.
Go behind the scenes with me in step-by-step videos demonstrating how to make the 7 petal tulips with bendable wires and attach them to a chair frame.
The hidden wires will give you the flexibility to keep the tulips in an upright position and to flex any of the pedals to give the tulip garden an "organic" growing look. I will direct you to the best chair frame and fabric selections for the overall Storybook look.
This is my most talked about chair. I originally designed this for Biltmore Estate's Bloom Festival.
