This chair is 100% personality and will challenge your upholstery artistry and innovation in new ways!
Discover how I use the ancient Italian art form, Trapunto, to create a stunning three-dimensional quilted effect that takes this design to the next level.
This one-of-a-kind design is a canvas for your creativity, achieved by layering at least two fabrics and padding it from the underside. Once you've mastered this skill, you'll discover endless possibilities to infuse it into your own custom chair designs, much to the delight of your customers and clients.
In these over-the-shoulder style videos, I'll show you how to paint the eye and beak, where to find this luscious Himalayan Curly Fur, and how to make complementary trim from any fabric. The back of the chair can be anything you want, but I will show you a source of watercolor prints that give it even more fun!
On this chair you can make the neck and head of the flamingo "puff out", while the background is flat.
